Cravens Manor, Suffolk

The phased conversion of a 17th century listed barn into a family home. The original oak frame with new cedar weatherboarding and thatched roof maintain the character of this barn while the materials and details of the internal floors and partitions create a very comfortable modern interior for this family home.

The frame of the building, a Grade II-listed structure, is constructed of rough oak. The thatched roof was restored and is now pierced with a bank of skylights that enable the interior of the property to be flooded with light.
