Purpose-built Factory

Topline Glazing Ltd commissioned O2i Design Ltd to design the new space for their factory. The company had outgrown its premises and required more space.

A larger, purpose-built unit would enhance processes and integrate new equipment and facilities. Careful planning ensured the bespoke building improved workflow and accommodated the expanding business within a flexible space. Improved facilities have enabled Topline to venture into new glass and glazing areas. The new factory doubles the size of the earlier premises, incorporating up-to-date technology throughout.

The new glass factory has enabled the company to install specialist machinery, including a 3.2-tonne overhead glass lifting crane. This machinery can handle larger sheets of glass and has expanded the product range. A steel portal construction forms the new building frame.
