Who we are

We see good design resulting from communication and collaboration. To find out more about us, who makes up our team and who we are, please see below.

Duncan Pyle (BA (Hons), Dip GVAD)

Duncan began his career at Building Design Partnership (BDP) in London. He worked with multi-disciplinary teams on large commercial and retail projects. He has extensive European experience, having lived and worked in Paris for four years. During that period, he was a senior design consultant in France, Belgium, Germany, Holland and the UK. While in Paris, he was an essential member of the teams developing innovative designs for office, retail and industrial projects, including waste treatment plants. His work on the latter was credited twice in the French architectural publication “Le Moniteur”. He spent seven years in London as a project leader, senior designer and lead consultant with David Leon Partnership, where he was primarily involved in designing knowledge-based research environments. Many clients are household names in the nuclear, pharmaceutical, engineering, food and chemical industries. He has spoken at The Royal Institution and The Royal Society on the critical design factors in effective research environments. He set up O2i Design Consultants in 2001.

Our office dogs

We cannot leave out our most trusty companions Hendrix and Reginald, the Jack Russells. They make up the meet-and-greet party. Sadly their drafting skills leave something to be desired, and they hate answering the telephone or taking minutes!
