Somerset Council Reopens Call for Sites

Could your land be considered for future development?

Somerset Council has reopened its Call for Sites, giving landowners another opportunity to submit land for consideration as part of the new Somerset Local Plan.
So, if you’ve ever wondered whether a field, paddock, large garden or unused piece of land could be suitable for future development, now is a good time to find out more.

What is the Call for Sites?

The Call for Sites is an invitation for landowners to tell Somerset Council about land they would like the Council to consider for future development.
The information helps the Council identify land that may be available as it prepares the new Somerset Local Plan.

It is not a planning application. Submitting a site does not give the land planning permission. It does not change its planning status.
