Duncan Pyle – Director

Duncan founded O2i Design Consultants in 2001 after an impressive career with leading international practices. He began at Building Design Partnership (BDP) in London, collaborating on large commercial and retail projects. His career took him to Paris, where he worked across France, Belgium, Germany, and the Netherlands, contributing to award-winning office, retail, and industrial schemes.
Notably, his design work on sustainable industrial projects was credited twice in Le Moniteur, a respected French architectural journal. Duncan also spent seven years in London as project leader and senior designer at David Leon Partnership, specialising in cutting-edge research environments. He has lectured at both The Royal Institution and The Royal Society, sharing insights into effective architectural design.

Richard Bennett – Senior Architectural Technician
Richard is O2i Design’s Senior Architectural Technician, with strong roots in Somerset. Educated at Stanchester Community School, Somerset College of Arts & Technology (Taunton), and Yeovil College, Richard brings local knowledge and technical expertise to every project. Since joining in 2014, he has played a key role in delivering high-quality architecture across Langport, Somerset, and the wider South West.
