Research & Technology CentreMarseille, France
This Research & Technology Centre project involved detailed accommodation analysis and re-modelling of the existing building for the plant support and catalyst development teams on a large refinery site in the south of France.
The scientists were continuously refining and developing techniques for using precious oil derivatives. This research was aimed at improving ways to produce plastic-based products for utility pipelines. The redesign of the building included a structural and mechanical upgrade. This improvement was to ensure the facility was explosion resistant and provide a safe, flexible and stimulating working environment. Duncan Pyle worked closely with the French site teams to produce a co-ordinated strategy. With dlp.
