Taunton, Somerset

The owners of Water Mill commissioned O2i Design Ltd to renovate and extend their home.

The project aimed to create a cohesive space with modern features while preserving the original character. The design included a large kitchen/diner, an artist’s studio, a utility room, and refurbished bedrooms. With emphasis on simplicity and originality, the renovation opened up the ground floor for natural circulation. Large windows brighten the interior, creating a modern yet complementary space.

The project earned recognition in the LABC South West Regional Building Excellence Awards 2017. Additionally, it was featured in Telegraph magazine (June 2017) and Homes and Antiques (October 2017).
