This heritage‑led regeneration unites the transformation of Glastonbury Abbey Yard with the creation of St Dunstan’s House Community Health & Wellbeing Centre. Finalist LABC Awards – 2020
Once again, two of our latest projects made the shortlist in the LABC South West Building Excellence Awards 2020. In a year where competition has been fiercer than ever, we’re thrilled to announce that O2i Design Ltd has been shortlisted twice in the Finals of the LABC Building Excellence Awards 2020 (South West) for Best Extension or Alteration to an Existing Dwelling. It’s a real boost to receive such positive recognition and we are proud to have two South Somerset homes in the competition.

Winner of LABC South West Regional Building Excellence Awards 2017
Our designs for the Engine Room II, Somerset Film in Bridgwater, have just won the SW Best Public Service Building. The Award ceremony took place in May 2017 in Plymouth, and we could not be more pleased. You can read more about the winning project here. Homebuilding & Renovating Awards 2011 – Readers’ Choice Eco Home Winner 2011
O2i Design gained the Planning Application Approval for Daisy Farm. This self-build eco-home was a remarkable achievement by owners Anthony and Andrew and a real testament of their drive and vision. Using the stone of the house they replaced and incorporating many sustainable design features, they achieved a home that perfectly represents their interest in low-impact living.

O2i Design’s team were thrilled to have won the much coveted “Business of the Year” award in the Somerset Business Awards. Somerset Chamber of Commerce organises these Awards and recognises and promotes the county’s talented entrepreneurs.

The Sunday Telegraph’s Environmental Property Journalist of the Year, Sarah Lonsdale, looked at the ownership of eco homes, including one of O2i Design’s eco projects. “It is light, airy and pleasant to live in.” says the owner. “My only worry is that we’ll never be able to live anywhere else as we have got used to such high standards.”

O2i Design Ltd was proud to win the LABC Building Excellence Award for “Best Sustainable Project” in Sedgemoor, Taunton Deane and West Somerset. “The judges felt that the project by O2i Design Consultants was unique in its sustainability credentials. The development of five dwellings on a confined site successfully achieved Level 5 under The Code for Sustainable Homes.”
Government Case Studies.
This Government publication featured one of O2i Design‘s projects as one of four national case studies in The Code for Sustainable Homes- Case Studies. This project was also awarded the ‘Best Housing Scheme’ by Regen South West for the development of five sustainable homes built to CSH Code Level 5.
